After spending the better of two months on a mural, study for the mural, and a couple of childrens portraits, it is so nice to be painting again. Not quite done with the mural and figured I would cover it for a month and then revisit it and finish it up at that time.Commissions are great don't get me wrong, but I feel as if I have not worked on anything for myself in over 2 months.
I am preparing for a show out east in early April and must admit I am really enjoying myself.
We haven't got a lot of color around these parts right now but with all of my photos and studies from last summer I am finally getting back into a lot of pieces I was waiting patiently to get at.
I actually feel like a painter again.
